Renovation of the Festival Halls offers public institutions in the Salzburg region a continuous grant opportunity for comprehensive preservation and modernization measures at three historic venues: the Großes Festspielhaus, the Kleines Festspielhaus (House for Mozart), and the Felsenreitschule. The target group of this program comprises operators and sponsors of public or non-profit cultural institutions as well as municipal administrative bodies seeking to secure the structural condition and technical equipment of these significant event locations in the long term. Applications can be submitted from 01.01.2021 until the allocated funding volume is exhausted, with both construction measures and planning services as well as all costs directly associated with the renovation being eligible for funding.
