Writing Ambassador of the Handschrift Foundation – Promotion of Writing e. V.

The program of the Stiftung Handschrift – Förderung des Schreibens e. V. in Hesse is aimed at secondary school students (lower secondary level) who wish to explore the fascination of handwriting through creative formats such as photos, videos, texts, drawings, or interviews. Over the course of three months, participants document their observations and research on the topic "Writing by Hand" and are individually supported by experienced mentors. The goal is to promote writing skills, strengthen reflective abilities, and inspire enthusiasm for handwritten expression. Through active engagement with letters, colors, and shapes, young people gain new perspectives on the significance of writing as an emotional and intellectual means of communication.

Eligible for funding are privately registered students of a Hessian lower secondary school class. Requirements include parental consent and the willingness to dedicate leisure time over approximately three months to ambassador activities, balancing school and commitment without stress. Sponsorship includes recognition by the foundation as well as access to a network of experts, practical tips, and further contacts. Ongoing applications allow for flexible entry without application deadlines, enabling interested young people to promptly assume their role as writing ambassadors and publicly present their findings together with the team of the Stiftung Handschrift.
