Description

The Marius Eriksen Foundation offers a continuously available grant funding program in the Oldenburg region and surrounding areas for educational institutions aiming to sustainably strengthen the learning environment of primary schools, secondary schools, and vocational schools. Eligible to apply are schools and school authorities located in Oldenburg or the immediate vicinity that initiate supplementary support programs for children, adolescents, and young adults. The goal is to improve learning opportunities, increase learners' motivation, and sustainably promote academic achievement. Special emphasis is placed on projects that positively influence social interaction and the school atmosphere.

Among others, proven programs such as the individual homework assistance at primary schools, which has contributed for many years to closing learning gaps at an early stage, are funded. At secondary schools, the EinFACHbesser Award is granted, which, through financial incentives and recognition, inspires the ambition of young people. For vocational schools, there is the Motivation Award, which honors not only academic performance but also social commitment and reliability. Based on this, teachers and project coordinators have the opportunity to submit their innovative concepts to improve the learning atmosphere and willingness to perform. Applications can be submitted at any time, allowing educational institutions to benefit from support flexibly and without bureaucracy.
