Description

The DAA Foundation for Education and Vocational Training enables privately financed education at substitute and supplementary schools of the participating companies nationwide through a tuition fee subsidy. Up to €150 per month is covered to ensure that young people can attend school regardless of their personal or family financial situation and to prevent training dropouts due to economic reasons. Funding is provided to students at fee-based institutions such as IWK, GGSD, or DAA, whose family or personal income and asset situation represents a significant financial hardship. The funding is granted in the form of a one-time application with a 100% funding rate on the regular monthly tuition fees and takes effect immediately upon receipt of the application after verification of the submitted documents.

A prerequisite for approval is proof of social hardship through income and asset documents, an individual cover letter outlining the financial situation and motivation, as well as a supporting statement from the school authority following a personal consultation. The standardized application form for tuition fee exemption/tuition fee reduction and the accompanying information sheet are available for complete application submission. Applications can be submitted continuously at any time; the DAA Foundation decides upon completeness of the documents and the statement from the school authority. Funding begins no earlier than one month after receipt of the application and can be granted until the end of the training period.
