Description
Companies, small and medium-sized organizations, as well as non-profit associations throughout Austria benefit from an attractive subsidy program for the new installation or renewal of thermal solar systems with up to 100 m² gross collector area. Systems for domestic hot water preparation, space heating, and process heat that use type-tested solar collectors according to EN 12975 are eligible for funding. In addition to the actual system, recognized expenses also include piping, pump units, heat storage, and air collectors. Planning, installation, as well as the dismantling and environmentally sound disposal of existing components are also eligible for funding. This program supports projects in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energies and makes a valuable contribution to climate protection and environmental conservation.
Applications can be submitted from March 1, 2024, to December 31, 2050, and must be made no later than six months after invoicing. For multiple systems implemented simultaneously, a separate application must be submitted for each project part. Eligible applicants include companies, interest groups, other associations, religious institutions, and non-profit organizations. For application submission, a signed funding settlement form, copies of invoices for all eligible costs, and, if applicable, a heat supply contract in the case of district heating connection must be provided. Processing and payment are handled by Kommunalkredit Public Consulting GmbH, which, as an expert in climate and environmental protection projects, guarantees uncomplicated support throughout the entire funding process.
