Description

The Solidarity City funding program of the VINCI Foundation for Social Responsibility has been supporting non-profit organizations nationwide since 2013 that are based in and carry out project work in socially disadvantaged urban districts. The goal is to strengthen social cohesion and improve access to education, employment, and housing for all residents. In addition to financial grants, funded institutions benefit from know-how sponsorships: committed VINCI employees accompany the project teams, share expertise, and thus promote a sustainable development dynamic on site. The funding is specifically aimed at social initiatives that revitalize local community life through inclusive measures and open up new opportunities for disadvantaged groups.

Non-profit organizations recognized as tax-privileged entities can submit applications on an ongoing basis, provided they demonstrate a social emergency in their district. Eligible costs include project expenses, personnel costs, material costs, as well as expenses related to the sponsorship. Crucial for a positive evaluation are the location in a designated hotspot, the substantive relevance to social cohesion, and the potential to sustainably integrate disadvantaged groups. Through the combination of financial support and personal coaching by VINCI experts, a comprehensive funding package is created that enables local actors to effectively improve living conditions and strengthen the community in the long term.
