Special Prize "Unique Ensembles" (Federal Competition "Jugend musiziert")

The Manfred Vetter Foundation for Art and Culture honors outstanding ensembles in the category "Special Ensembles" of the federal competition "Jugend musiziert" with a special prize endowed with €5,000 and enables a concert performance in the historic coach house at Langendorf Castle. Young musicians in ensembles ranging from two to thirteen members receive not only financial recognition but also an exclusive stage to showcase their skills before a knowledgeable and interested audience. The award links top achievements in the competition with the cultural promotion of children and youth and enriches the musical offerings at both regional and national levels.

Eligible to participate are ensembles that have won first prize in the federal competition "Jugend musiziert" in the category "Special Ensembles." A binding prerequisite is proof of the first prize, upon verification of which the award is granted. The selection is based solely on the competition ranking, ensuring a transparent and fair allocation process. The special prize strengthens the profile of the supported formations and lays the foundation for further performances and artistic development.
