The special awards of the German Foundation Musikleben annually honor outstanding young musicians who excel in nationwide competitions such as the German Musical Instrument Fund, the Federal Youth Music Competition, or the German Music Competition. With endowments of up to €6,000 per award, the foundation recognizes exceptional artistic achievements and interpretative quality. Since 1962, the non-profit funding institution has been committed to supporting top musical young talent, particularly strengthening talents from the age of 12 through financial awards and recognition in prestigious competition formats.
