The Social Fund of the Salzburg Fire Departments provides comprehensive group accident insurance for volunteer members of the volunteer fire brigades in the state of Salzburg. This insurance applies to accidents occurring during fire service and guarantees a lifelong disability pension based on the degree of incapacity for work in the event of permanent disability. In case of death, the contractually agreed insurance sum is paid out to the entitled survivors.
