Description
Social Scale Contribution Replacements for Institutional Childcare in Styria supports providers of childcare facilities that care for children up to school entry age. The aim of this ongoing funding opportunity is to relieve families through an income-dependent reimbursement of parental contributions according to the Styrian social scale. The subsidy primarily covers personnel costs and helps to combine high-quality care with a balanced cost model. A prerequisite for entitlement is the operation of an institutional facility in Styria, the collection of income-dependent parental contributions according to the social scale, as well as proof of the child's main residence or a parent's workplace in the region.
Applications are to be submitted exclusively via the electronic KIN-WEB system. For facilities starting at the beginning of the childcare year, the application must be submitted no later than October 1; for later commencements, a deadline of two weeks after start-up applies. Eligible for funding are companies, non-profit organizations, and public institutions active in the fields of social affairs, children and youth, as well as labor & social affairs. Additionally, the responsible department of the state government provides expert advice and ensures transparent allocation through regular inspections. This funding makes a decisive contribution to the financial planning security of childcare providers and supports a future-oriented childcare infrastructure in Styria.
