Description
The Spohn Training Scholarship of the Karl and Charlotte Spohn Foundation is aimed at blind and deaf trainees as well as students from Berlin and Hamburg. As part of this continuous support program, scholarship recipients receive a monthly allowance of €200 over a period of 24 months. The goal is to strengthen barrier-reduced educational pathways and to accompany the training with equal opportunities. Since the program's inception, more than 30 beneficiaries from various fields have already been supported with a total of over €100,000.
Interested applicants with recognized training or university status must submit a cover letter, the proof of training or enrollment certificate, as well as the proof of blindness or deafness. Applications can be submitted at any time, as the selection process is ongoing. The foundation emphasizes fair support throughout the entire training period, thereby specifically promoting the professional and personal development of the recipients.
