Description
The sports association funding of the state of Vorarlberg offers recognized state sports associations an impact-oriented basic funding as well as additional resources for competitive and elite sports. With funding rates between 50% and 75%, the program supports cost-intensive fixed areas such as administration, organization, and office operations, as well as personnel costs for structural developers, state coaches, and trainers. Furthermore, rents and operating costs for training and competition facilities, fleet costs, expenses for delegations to national and international championships, special measures such as equipment purchases or mental training, as well as training, further education, and continuing education measures and project-specific costs can be covered. The funding extends over a project duration of 12 months and is exclusively aimed at non-profit associations based in Vorarlberg.
Eligible to apply are state sports associations that include at least three member clubs and have been recognized as eligible for funding by the state of Vorarlberg. A prerequisite for approval is the timely submission of the funding application and budget plan for the following year by no later than June 1, participation in mandatory information events, and securing the necessary own contribution. For separately billable costs, the application must be submitted at least four weeks before the start of the measure. The goal of the system is to strengthen association development both quantitatively and qualitatively and to ensure the long-term preservation of association structures.
