Description
In Carinthia, a continuously available grant funding is provided to support the new construction, expansion, conversion, completion, and comprehensive renovation of club buildings as well as sports facilities, while also enabling the purchase of sports equipment. The aim of this initiative is to create modern and barrier-free sports venues that sustainably strengthen regional sports operations in the long term. Funding can be used for a wide range of construction measures – from the erection of new training halls to the renovation of clubhouses and the expansion of playing fields or multifunctional areas. This program particularly improves the infrastructure and equipment of Carinthian sports clubs, sports associations, umbrella organizations, and municipalities in a sustainable manner.
Eligible to apply are non-profit organizations and public institutions based in Carinthia that comply with the Carinthian Sports Act and the sports guidelines for sports facility construction. All costs for construction measures and sports equipment are eligible for funding; the application must include sketches or scaled drawings, a comprehensible cost breakdown or a detailed cost estimate, as well as a lease agreement with at least 25 years of usage rights. Informal submission of applications is accepted continuously without a deadline. Applications are reviewed based on professional and legal requirements and are disbursed as partial funding within the available budget. This funding model offers Carinthian sports organizations a reliable opportunity to expand their structural and material resources with a future-oriented approach and to optimize the sporting offerings for all participants.
