Description

Arabic Language Promotion offers Muslims residing in Germany nationwide, aged 16 and above, a comprehensive opportunity to acquire basic Arabic language skills. In cooperation with the online academy islamicmentors.de, the courses are conducted based on proven Medina textbooks and under the guidance of qualified tutors. The program covers 100% of the course fees for the A1 level and, if needed, also for the A2 level. Flexible learning times allow for individual scheduling, enabling both working professionals and learners with school commitments to complete the course within six (A1) to twelve months (A2). The goal is to provide participants with deeper access to Arabic culture and Islamic tradition and to enable the reading of the Quran, Hadiths, and other Islamic scholarly literature in the original language.

The funding measure is aimed at private individuals of Muslim faith living in Germany who have little or no prior knowledge of Arabic. The following documents must be submitted for the application: a copy of the identity card or passport including residence permit, a self-written text outlining personal learning objectives, a reference letter (from employer, association, mosque, or organization), as well as a signed commitment declaration to complete the course. Applications can be submitted at any time; there is no fixed deadline. Upon positive acceptance, participants receive a confirmation and are directly registered with the online academy. Final online tests demonstrate learning success and enable progression to the next language level. The full cost coverage by the International Islamic Foundation – Education and Culture thus sustainably promotes the linguistic and cultural participation of Muslims in Germany.
