Location Development for Scientific Institutions

The funding supports the development and operation of infrastructural services for scientific and cultural institutions in the federal state of Lower Austria. The focus is on facility management measures at the locations Campus Krems, Campus Tulln, and Campus Klosterneuburg. The goal is to ensure the smooth operation of the facilities and to sustainably strengthen the regional research landscape. As grant funding, the program allows for continuous submissions, enabling flexible planning and implementation of projects. Public institutions with headquarters or locations in Lower Austria benefit from financial participation specifically aimed at the provision and optimization of infrastructure services.

Eligible for funding are scientific and cultural organizations that can demonstrate a verifiable connection to Lower Austria. A prerequisite for application is a fully completed official form containing information about the person, project content, location, period, cost breakdown, and financing plan. The application must be personally signed and submitted by mail or fax. Evaluation criteria include the contribution to achieving the scientific objectives of the state, the regional anchoring of the project, as well as a realistic and balanced financing plan. In addition to the form, a detailed project description, cost estimates, and a signed proof of use within the framework of the proof of use obligation must be submitted. Thanks to the unlimited deadline, submissions can be made at any time, promoting demand-oriented planning and rapid implementation of infrastructure measures at the Lower Austrian science campuses.
