In a 12-month program, business planning, business management qualification, as well as marketing and market entry training are provided. Experts accompany the participants in approximately 25 half-day workshops and eight to ten individual feedback sessions to professionalize entrepreneurial skills. Additionally, the program offers networking meetings and peer-learning units. Financial support of up to €8,500 serves as subsistence aid and is tied to the successful completion of milestones. Selection takes place in three stages: written short application, presentation interview, and full application submission.
Eligible for funding are private individuals with a firm plan for full-time founding in the pre-start-up phase. A prerequisite is a company formation not yet registered, which is to be based in Bremen. The program supports start-up projects from the fields of education & training, business financing, consulting, as well as social and eco-innovations. The application deadline is 31.08.2026. Required are a short application, a CV, and a six-page project description. The goal of the coaching is to develop the business model to market readiness, clarify legal and financial aspects, and achieve initial revenues in operational business. Through intensive support and industry-specific impulses, the program establishes solid foundations for a successful start into self-employment.
