The Balthasar Children and Youth Hospice Foundation enables effective and sustainable support of its palliative care through an interest-free loan starting at €5,000. The provided capital remains the property of the lenders and is fully available again after the individually customizable term ends. Only the interest income is, in accordance with the statutes, invested in the care of seriously ill children and adolescents as well as in comprehensive family support. Termination at any time and flexible repayment options ensure a high degree of flexibility for private and institutional supporters. The guaranteed global guarantee of the cooperating bank ensures reliable security of the deposited capital.

Eligible for funding are private individuals, companies, foundations, and non-profit organizations wishing to contribute from a minimum amount of €5,000 without foregoing a later repayment of the capital. Unlike traditional donations or endowments, the loan amount remains available long-term as a reserve, while the interest income directly benefits hospice work – entirely free of withholding tax. Applications and awards are possible on an ongoing basis, allowing interested supporters to contribute at any time to securing and further developing services for seriously ill children and adolescents.
