Foundation of the Association – Support for the Foundation of the Baltic Knighthoods

The Foundation of the Association of Baltic Knighthoods supports charitable and non-profit initiatives nationwide that serve social cohesion and democratic culture. Since its recognition as a charitable and benevolent institution in 1989, the Foundation has been supporting aid-oriented projects in line with its statutory purpose. Funding is provided to both individuals and non-profit organizations committed to work and social affairs, civic engagement, or charitable measures. The Foundation’s grant enables, among other things, the financing of support services for particularly needy individuals, awareness initiatives in the field of democracy education, and projects that contribute to strengthening the local social fabric. The focus is on sustainable impact to achieve lasting improvements in the social structure.

Funding applications can be submitted at any time, as the Foundation continuously accepts and reviews applications. Interested groups and organizations receive insights into the funding guidelines as well as the decision-making process through the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees. Submission of an application requires a description of the planned measure, information on the intended benefit for the target groups, and a cost estimate. Early planning increases the chances of success, as the allocation of funds is carried out within the framework of available resources. The goal is to support projects that, through commitment, creativity, and sustainable action, help people in need and strengthen democratic awareness in Germany.
