Ambos Foundation 2024 Award for Innovative Teaching and Learning

The 2024 Foundation Award of the Ambos Foundation for Innovative Teaching and Learning honors outstanding school and practical projects in Germany that achieve sustainable impact through creative teaching and learning formats. This year, both educational institutions and individuals will be recognized who are pioneering new paths in initial and continuing education. The award promotes approaches that integrate practice-oriented methods with solid research to strengthen understanding of education for sustainable development. The focus is on projects that design meaningful learning processes, cooperate interdisciplinarily, and establish a culture of shared responsibility. The award aims to highlight exemplary formats and encourage their dissemination within the education system.

Eligible to participate are teachers, school teams, schools, and extracurricular educational providers who submit an innovative teaching or learning project and demonstrate its practical orientation, sustainability, and impact. Winners receive a symbolic recognition as well as a public platform to further develop and disseminate their teaching and learning ideas.
