Description

Since 2020, the noon Foundation has annually supported three high-achieving students at the University of Mannheim with a Germany Scholarship amounting to €300 per month in addition to BAföG. The funding is aimed at individuals enrolled at the University of Mannheim who receive the full BAföG rate, demonstrate above-average academic or school performance, and show strong extracurricular or social commitment. The selection process considers not only academic achievements but also personal starting conditions, such as a migration background or financial challenges within the family environment.

The scholarship runs for a period of 12 months and serves to provide financial relief, creating opportunities for study trips, specialized literature, additional courses, or language stays. The foundation’s goal is to promote equal opportunities and sustainably support talents in challenging life situations. Applications are accepted in stages: students within the standard period of study March 16, 2026 – May 4, 2026, master’s applicants April 15, 2026 – June 1, 2026, and bachelor’s applicants June 1, 2026 – July 15, 2026. The funding period is scheduled to begin on August 1, 2026. The contributions from the noon Foundation ease living expenses and enable a focus on studies, supporting emerging professionals on their path to academic success and societal participation.
