Description
The Nagelschneider Foundation awards nationwide project-related doctoral scholarships for the research of sustainable energies. Funded projects include those in the areas of generation, storage, transport, and intelligent grid planning of renewable energies, as well as measures to reduce energy consumption. Doctoral candidates receive a monthly scholarship of up to €2,000 for a maximum duration of 36 months. The foundation aims to strengthen scientific excellence and promote innovative solutions for energy efficiency and climate protection. The funding rate is 100%, with only living expenses covered by the scholarship – material and travel costs as well as social security contributions are not included.
Applications require a completed funding application, a curriculum vitae in tabular form, and the countersignature of the supervising professor.
