Description

The scholarship funding of the William G. Kerckhoff Foundation is aimed at outstanding early-career researchers in Germany who are engaged in the doctoral phase with innovative therapeutic concepts related to the heart, lungs, and blood vessels. The nationwide open call supports projects in the fields of research & innovation, science, education & training, health, as well as work & social affairs. Application requirements include an ongoing doctoral project in the specified research area and proof of scientific excellence through publications and letters of recommendation. Awards are granted on an ongoing basis as a prize/distinction and specifically promote forward-looking approaches to improving cardiovascular and pulmonary medicine.
