The program targets individuals with outstanding academic achievements and proven voluntary engagement in the social environment. Applications can be submitted during three time windows: for trainees from April 15 to June 15, 2026; for the journalistic support program, the doctoral college “Shaping the Future Actively,” international students and doctoral candidates, as well as internal funding from June 15 to July 15, 2026; and for students and doctoral candidates (including international applicants) from December 15, 2026, to January 15, 2027.
Requirements for a successful application include excellent transcripts, proof of voluntary activities, and a convincing presentation of motivation and future perspectives. Submission of documents must include a tabular CV, a motivation letter (approx. 200 words for trainees), latest transcripts, letters of recommendation from teachers or employers, proof of voluntary work, as well as an exposé of the study or doctoral project and expert reports for students and doctoral candidates. Selection is based on the criteria of academic performance, social engagement, and personal objectives.
