Scholarship Program (Language Scholarships) – Confucius Institute Munich

The scholarship program of the Confucius Institute Munich, supported by the ex oriente Foundation in cooperation with Beijing Foreign Studies University, promotes active and committed students as well as teachers of Chinese in Bavaria. Through language scholarships, participants of various levels are supported in their language acquisition and given the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in an inspiring and interculturally influenced environment. As a permanent award, the funding is equally aimed at enrolled students as well as certified teachers in the field of Chinese and places great emphasis on the development of language skills and intercultural understanding.

Interested parties can apply at any time and are asked to submit proof of enrollment or teaching activity. The continuously offered scholarships are intended as a respectful recognition of special commitment in studies and teaching. Through the close integration of practice and theory, scholarship holders benefit from qualified teachers who, as native speakers, are deeply rooted in both cultures.
