Description

The Aloys and Brigitte Coppenrath Foundation continuously awards scholarships to students, trainees, and pupils in the Osnabrück–Emsland–Grafschaft Bentheim region who demonstrate outstanding personal achievements and exceptional commitment. The aim of the funding is to strengthen talents and support innovative ideas within the framework of studies, training, or school. A focus lies on projects that align with the foundation’s objectives in the fields of general and vocational education as well as student assistance. Designed as a grant, the scholarships are tax-free under § 3 No. 44 EStG and can be disbursed either as a lump sum or in installments, depending on the agreement. Applicants also benefit from advisory support through a broad network of experts and mentors.

Applications can be submitted at any time and are directed at students of regional universities, trainees, and pupils from the specified funding area. Prerequisites for the award include a fully completed and signed application form, a letter of motivation, as well as proof of voluntary engagement and additional qualifications. Additionally, a certificate of enrollment, training, or school attendance must be submitted. Awards are made based on individual decisions by the board and advisory council, taking into account not only personal achievements but also the alignment of the projects with the foundation’s purpose. Due to the low bureaucratic effort and the continuous submission possibility, this program is particularly suitable for those wishing to advance their academic or professional careers with additional financial support and professional guidance.
