The Prof. Dr. Gustav Blanke and Hilde Blanke Foundation annually awards outstanding theses and research papers in the field of American Studies at Department 06 of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. The aim is to promote master's theses, dissertations, and habilitations that address the emergence, development, and global significance of the United States of America. Projects examining the efforts of the USA to improve international relations are also supported. Eligible to participate are enrolled master's students, doctoral candidates, and habilitation candidates in American Studies at Department 06 in Mainz.
