Description

The Kurt Sanderling Academy Foundation of the Konzerthaus Orchestra Berlin continuously awards international scholarships to highly qualified young musicians. Over a period of up to 24 months, scholarship recipients receive not only financial support but are also individually mentored by members of the Konzerthaus Orchestra. During this time, practical orchestral experience in rehearsals, concerts, tours, and media productions is emphasized. The goal is to sustainably deepen musical training and convey the performance tradition of the renowned Konzerthaus Orchestra. The funding is aimed at individuals with advanced instrumental training who are willing to actively engage in a vacant position within the orchestra academy and seek intensive exchange with orchestra members.
