Description

Scholarship (Support for musically gifted youth) of the Domhof Foundation is aimed at young people living nationwide with outstanding musical talent. The goal of the funding is to individually support young talents until they begin their studies or training. To this end, the foundation covers costs for additional instrumental or vocal lessons, seminars and masterclasses, as well as participation fees for competitions. Furthermore, concerts and meetings for scholarship holders are organized to strengthen artistic exchange and networking within the musical youth support community. The support is provided as a non-repayable grant and can be applied for continuously.

Interested young people must submit proof of their musical talent as well as proof of age. Selection is based on artistic quality and individual need for support, with development potential being the focus. Eligible expenses include tuition, course and seminar fees as well as competition participation and organizational costs for events. The decision is made by the board of trustees according to the foundation’s statutes; legal recourse is excluded. Applications can be submitted at any time, allowing for flexible and timely support. This program offers young musicians the opportunity to specifically develop their skills and prepare for a professional career path.
