Description
Structural Development Measures in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania
The funding instrument is aimed at companies, interest groups and other associations, as well as municipalities and public institutions in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The goal is to support projects for securing skilled labor, creating or safeguarding jobs, as well as strengthening economic and regional development. Funded are structural development services in the business environment, measures for digital transformation, and the exploitation of potentials in the green economy. Funding is provided as a non-repayable grant with a funding rate of up to 55% of eligible personnel costs – in regions with particular labor market challenges or rural development areas even up to 65%. The project duration is initially 12 months and can be extended by one further year upon positive evaluation.
Prerequisites for approval are the professional and organizational suitability of the applicants as well as a positive resolution by the responsible regional advisory board for regional projects or a decision by the competent ministry for supra-regional projects. Eligible costs include, in particular, flat-rate personnel costs for employees engaged in the project. Applications can be submitted during the funding period from June 28, 2022, to December 31, 2030. A precise project description, professional statements, and the forms according to the guidelines are required for the application. Submission is made via the office of the respective regional advisory board or directly through the Ministry of Economy, Infrastructure, Tourism and Labor Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. This instrument makes an important contribution to adapting companies to digital transformation, promoting regional growth, and securing skilled labor in the long term.
