Description

The Jakob Kaiser Foundation e.V. enables politically interested participants aged 16 and over to take multi-day study trips to significant historical and political learning sites in Germany and Europe. As part of this ongoing educational offering, destinations such as Weimar, Berlin, Brussels, Strasbourg, and Luxembourg are offered. On site, there is space for in-depth subject and contemporary history education: whether at the Federal Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe, the sites of the Peace of Westphalia in Münster, the former Dachau concentration camp, or the European Parliament – qualified speakers accompany the group and encourage critical exchange through guided tours with commentary, lectures, and discussion rounds. Additional visits to museums, memorials, and exhibition venues complement the program, while ample time is provided for independent exploration.

The individual program modules can be flexibly combined; the foundation responds individually to the expectations and scheduling requests of the participants. Accommodation is provided in certified three-star hotels; half-board and bus costs are already included in the grant. The foundation assumes organization and educational supervision – from content planning to the selection of speakers. Registrations are possible at any time via the corresponding form, with a minimum group size of 20 persons required. Through recognition as a provider of political education and the continuing education quality seal, the Jakob Kaiser Foundation e.V. guarantees independent, non-partisan, and high-quality educational work in the spirit of freedom, solidarity, and democracy.
