Description

Subsidies to non-profit organizations under the Carinthian Equal Opportunities Act (K-ChG) support non-profit organizations based in Carinthia in the fields of Social Affairs as well as Work & Social Affairs. As direct grants, they cover operating costs, personnel expenses, and material expenses for social policy measures and institutions in the public interest. Applications can be submitted continuously and without time limitation, providing non-profit organizations with reliable planning security for the ongoing financing of their projects. The funding is intended to secure daily operations and enable projects that would not be feasible from own resources without state support. A key aspect is the mention of the recipients in the annually published subsidy report of the State of Carinthia.

For the allocation of funds, a fully completed subsidy application including the signed declaration of commitment must be submitted. Additionally, a financing plan is required to demonstrate the full financing of the project. Upon completion of the project, original receipts as well as the official accounting form must be submitted, with funds to be used according to the principles of thrift, economy, and appropriateness. The application documents include, besides the subsidy application, declaration of commitment, and financing plan, also the subsidy accounting for subsequent proof of use. The necessary forms are available online via the e-government portal of the Carinthian State Government. Since the start of funding in 2014, the possibility of unlimited submission has been established to provide non-profit organizations with continuous support. This ongoing funding measure is aimed at institutions dedicated to realizing social policy objectives in the public interest.
