Description

Under the umbrella of the Carinthian Child and Youth Welfare Act (K-KJHG), non-profit organizations and providers of independent welfare services in Carinthia continuously have access to operating cost subsidies as well as personnel and material allocations. This funding, provided directly as a grant, is aimed at initiatives active in the fields of social affairs, children and youth, as well as labor & social issues, which achieve a publicly significant socio-political impact through their measures. Through flexible support of operating costs, personnel expenses, and material expenses, existing structures are strengthened and new services are created that make a sustainable contribution to child and youth welfare. The submission deadline is unlimited – applications can be submitted at any time since 01.01.2014. The amount of funding is reported annually in the subsidy report and is based on the actual operating costs as well as the documented personnel and material needs.

For the application, a fully completed subsidy application, the signing of the declaration of commitment, and a detailed financing plan to demonstrate full financing are required. Only projects that can demonstrably not be realized from own funds and comply with the requirements of the subsidy report are eligible for funding. Applicants submit the subsidy declaration, subsidy accounting, declaration of commitment, and financing plan to the responsible Department 4 of the Office of the Carinthian State Government. This funding opens up diverse opportunities for non-profit providers to sustainably further develop their services in line with Carinthian child and youth welfare policy and to improve the living conditions of young people in the long term.
