Subsidies to Various Institutions

The subsidy to various institutions supports non-profit organizations, private individuals, companies, interest groups, as well as other associations with a direct connection to Carinthia. In the thematic areas of commitment to social cohesion and democracy as well as work & social affairs, the program funds projects, events, and club activities that create a tangible added value for the federal state. The goal is to strengthen regional initiatives, enable innovative formats, and promote exchange between local actors as well as the transfer of experience and knowledge. Through a discretionary decision of the Office of the Carinthian State Government, Department 1 – State Office Directorate, the funding is flexibly adapted to the needs of the applicants.

The grant can be applied for continuously and is open to both natural and legal persons who wish to realize their project in Carinthia. A clear connection to Carinthia is a prerequisite, based on which the project content is reviewed and evaluated. Among others, cultural events, educational offerings, socio-political initiatives, and club projects that provide sustainable impulses for the region are funded. Approval is granted upon submission and review of the original invoices corresponding to the amount of the granted support. Interested applicants receive further information and advice at the State Office Directorate Carinthia to optimally prepare and implement their project.
