The Summer School Medicinal Plants 2026 offers a four-day, interprofessional continuing education program that imparts practical knowledge on phytotherapy and the professional handling of medicinal plants. Pharmacy and medical students from the 5th semester onwards gain insights into the cultivation, processing, and quality control of herbal medicinal products through workshops, laboratory experiments, and excursions. Experts from human and veterinary medicine, pharmacy, and the natural sciences facilitate intensive professional exchange. The goal of this event, funded by the Foundation for Integrative Medicine & Pharmacy, is to raise awareness of complementary therapeutic approaches and to strengthen collaboration between health disciplines.
The Summer School will take place from August 13 to 16, 2026, in Bad Boll (Baden-Württemberg). The participation fee is €50 and includes meals and accommodation. Travel costs are to be borne individually. Eligible for funding are individuals enrolled in the desired field of study and willing to pay the fee.
