System Accreditation (Application) – ZEvA Foundation

The system accreditation of the ZEvA Foundation is aimed nationwide at public as well as state-recognized universities and universities of applied sciences that wish to establish or further develop their internal quality management system (QM system). The goal is to grant the right of self-accreditation, enabling institutions to independently approve degree programs in accordance with the requirements of the Accreditation Council. Applications can be submitted at any time, allowing interested institutions to enter the process flexibly and promptly. A prerequisite is an existing QM system or the willingness to develop one in close coordination with ZEvA. The continuous funding opportunity enables precise planning and implementation of all procedural steps in accordance with state-specific legal regulations.

ZEvA supports the entire process – from the initial concept consultation through the review reports to the final on-site evaluation and the preparation of a detailed accreditation report. In addition to system accreditation for the entire university, a focus lies on partial accreditation of individual faculties or entire consortia, provided that joint QM structures exist. Furthermore, the agency offers tailored consulting services for concept optimization and quality improvement processes. Through intensive discussions and status seminars, potential conditions are identified and minimized at an early stage. This creates a transparent procedure that empowers universities to sustainably secure and further develop their degree programs.
