Day care for children and adolescents with disabilities in Tyrol offers outpatient, full-day support outside of regular schooling and is aimed at companies, non-profit organizations, and public institutions. The goal of this continuously available grant funding is the holistic support and strengthening of participation in social life. Benefits are granted for up to 60 months and can be applied for at any time. Prerequisites include proof of a disability according to § 3 lit. a TTHG, Austrian citizenship or equivalence, main residence in Tyrol (exception in the case of inpatient service approval), as well as the cooperation of the adolescents or their legal representatives. A positive decision enables funding from the first day of the application month at the earliest, with a maximum duration of five years from the date of application receipt.
