Participation Vouchers

Participation vouchers provide people with limited financial means in the Aachen church district with new opportunities to access social and educational offerings from church organizations. With the help of this 100% subsidy funding, all participant fees for holiday trips, course attendance, co-payments for mother-child cures, as well as other educational programs, are covered. In particular, families, children, and young people gain uncomplicated access to leisure, recreational, and learning activities that would often be unattainable without financial support. The initiative makes a significant contribution to social participation and opens up new learning and experiential spaces in the North Rhine-Westphalia region.

Eligible to apply are public institutions as well as non-profit organizations based in the Aachen church district, especially church congregations and Protestant and diaconal institutions. Applications can be submitted at any time using the official application form, available in Word or PDF format. Upon submission, the board of trustees reviews the applications received and approves the funding quickly and straightforwardly. Sustainable financing is ensured through the ongoing fundraising campaigns of the Protestant Foundation for Church and Diakonia. Interested institutions can thus activate funding for their target groups throughout the year and thereby contribute to strengthening participation opportunities and educational equity within the regional community.
