Description
The Thuringian Climate Protection Award "The Blue Dragonfly" is a year-round open ideas competition and an award for outstanding projects in Thuringia that save primary energy, utilize renewable energies, or promote efficient energy use. Eligible for funding are private individuals, companies, interest groups, other associations, public as well as educational institutions. A grant of up to €5,000 can be applied for per project. Additionally, the Climate Protection Foundation Jena-Thuringia annually awards the prize "The Blue Dragonfly" for particularly innovative and impactful measures. Evaluation criteria include the contribution strength to climate protection, broad effectiveness, level of innovation, feasibility, as well as the plausibility and quality of the application documents.
Interested project sponsors must ensure that their project is carried out in Thuringia and has not yet started or been completed at the time of application. For the application, the Authorship Form 2026, the Funding Guidelines, and the complete Funding Application must be submitted. The application documents can be found on the website of the Climate Protection Foundation Jena-Thuringia. Through its gender-sensitive approach and transparent selection based on defined criteria, all potential participants are equally encouraged to submit.
