Description
The animal shelter-specific training modules of the Dogworld Foundation offer targeted further education for employees of non-profit as well as public institutions in Bavaria, Lower Saxony, and Saxony. The focus is on practical seminars for the proper care and promotion of shelter dogs, conducted as 2- or 3-day events depending on the subject matter. Through comprehensive theoretical units, video analyses, and practical exercises, competencies in handling aggressive behavior, deceleration, and special origin situations are imparted. In this way, the Dogworld Foundation sustainably contributes to improving the quality of life and well-being of dogs in shelters.
As a grant program for employees in animal shelters and animal welfare organizations, the training modules cover both initial and advanced training and can be applied for continuously. A prerequisite for funding is employment in an eligible institution as well as registration no later than 10 days before the seminar begins. The cost per 2-day seminar is €60 and for 3-day events €90. A completed registration form must be submitted to the foundation to secure participation. Interested institutions receive detailed documents directly from the Dogworld Foundation – Lifeline for Orphaned Dogs – and benefit from continuous training offers within the regional education networks.
