Funding objective
The goal of Tyrolean tourism funding is to ensure the positive development of tourism in Tyrol to strengthen economic performance and competitiveness. Eligible for funding are investment projects aimed at a significant improvement of the operational structure and/or an enhancement of the offerings in the sector of the small-structured Tyrolean tourism economy.

Description
The Tourism Promotion of the State of Tyrol strengthens the medium-sized Tyrolean tourism and leisure industry by specifically supporting investment projects in micro-structured enterprises. Eligible to apply are micro and small enterprises in the sector as well as – with a focus on digitalization and personnel infrastructure – also medium-sized companies with headquarters or business premises in Tyrol. The focus is on the long-term securing of positive development dynamics through the promotion of measures in the areas of business financing and consulting, digitalization, regional development, infrastructure and urban development, as well as agriculture and rural development. Projects in hospitality, gastronomy, and tourist infrastructure are supported, as well as revitalizations and business takeovers that enable a significant improvement of business structure and offerings.
The grant is provided as a one-time subsidy with a funding rate of 5% up to a maximum of 35% of eligible expenses, which include investment costs, infrastructure and digitalization measures, as well as personnel infrastructure. Additional surcharges are available in regional development areas, for digitalization projects, and for tavern takeovers, and a premium of up to 20,000 euros can be applied for. A sustainability bonus of 5,000 euros rounds off the funding package. For the application, the application form for investment funding, the application form for the tavern premium, and the current guidelines for tourism promotion are required. Funding applications can be submitted between March 1, 2024, and December 31, 2027, to sustainably increase the competitiveness of Tyrolean tourism.
