Description

The TOY Berlin Masters Award is an annual art prize awarded by the ARNDT Foundation as part of the Berlin Masters exhibition. With an endowment of €10,000, the award supports professional visual artists residing in Berlin. Established by art collectors Monique and Max Burger in memory of their son Yves Biggoer-Burger, the prize opens up new opportunities for outstanding positions in contemporary art and contributes to the visibility of artistic work in the capital.

The funds can be used flexibly by the laureates for production, exhibitions, and publications to realize innovative projects and further sharpen their artistic profile. A prerequisite for the award is participation in the Berlin Masters exhibition – a platform that offers selected artists from Berlin the opportunity to present their work to a broad specialist audience. The ongoing call ensures that a new generation of talents is supported annually and that the vibrant exchange within the Berlin art scene is strengthened.
