Transfer BONUS – Technology, Knowledge, Design, and Gamification Transfer

Transfer BONUS is a continuously available grant program by Investitionsbank Berlin that specifically promotes the transfer of technology, knowledge, design, and gamification solutions to Berlin-based SMEs, start-ups, and private individuals. The program aims to strengthen innovation capacity and economic competitiveness by integrating new approaches and methods into existing corporate structures and real estate ownership. The funding focus ranges from the development of novel technology concepts through the systematic preparation of knowledge to innovative design approaches and playful gamification components that inspire both employees and customers alike. Ongoing application submission allows for flexible project planning without fixed deadlines.

Eligible for funding are small and medium-sized enterprises, founders, as well as private individuals with headquarters or business premises in Berlin who present a coherent transfer project in the specified thematic area. Key evaluation criteria are the project's level of innovation and its economic feasibility. To apply, a completed application form, a detailed project description, and a cost and financing plan must be submitted.
