Description

In Upper Austria, an ongoing grant program supports companies in transporting children and adolescents with disabilities to remedial education groups, age-extended kindergarten groups, and integration concepts in regular after-school care centers. The funding covers part of the transportation costs as a non-repayable contribution, thereby promoting inclusion in social and educational contexts. Families, educational institutions, and municipalities alike benefit from a reliable transport solution. It is exclusively aimed at transport-providing companies and is thematically anchored in the areas of children and youth, social affairs, education, as well as training and further education. Applications can be submitted continuously without a deadline, and approval is granted immediately after a positive review.

Eligible expenses include all transportation costs for the specified target groups. A prerequisite for funding is the preparation of vehicle deployment plans and monthly billing via the RKS route control system, as well as maintaining attendance lists and providing proof of disability through an F1 form. Only companies that carry out the transport are eligible for funding. The grant is calculated based on the actual costs incurred, capped by the applicable hourly rate. Since this is an indefinite funding opportunity, the planning of permanent transport services can be done on a long-term basis. Payments are made quarterly upon submission of the required documents, allowing for reliable liquidity planning. Through long-term funding and the indefinite application possibility, a dependable mobility solution is created, making an important contribution to equal participation opportunities.
