Description
The De Minimis aid for drinking water testing supports agricultural enterprises in Upper Austria in verifying the quality of their own well water and complying with the legal requirements for an official drinking water report. In cooperation with an accredited laboratory, the analysis costs are covered for milk producers and direct marketers who market or refine their raw milk directly. The aim of the funding is to ensure health protection and environmental compatibility by securing clean drinking water as the basis for animal products. Through long-term support, operational reliability and consumer confidence are to be sustainably strengthened.
Interested parties can submit an application for De Minimis funding for drinking water testing at any time, as the funding period is unlimited until 31.12.9999. Only the laboratory costs of the initial examination are funded; follow-up examinations after insufficient results are excluded. A prerequisite is the operation of a private well system as well as the legal obligation to present an official report.
