Assumption of debt service for loans for the renovation and expansion of the Marienberg private schools

The measure enables educational institutions in Vorarlberg to achieve long-term relief of their financial budgets: The debt service of a loan amounting to €1.7 million, taken out over more than ten years for the realization of the renovation and expansion of the Marienberg private schools in Bregenz, is fully assumed by the State of Vorarlberg. With a funding rate of 100%, the grant covers both interest and principal repayments and ensures that the private schools can sustainably expand their capacities at the Bregenz location without burdening their ongoing budget management. Applications can be submitted during the funding period from January 1, 2015, to December 31, 2026, with the project start date retroactively possible from January 1, 2015.

Funding is provided to the sponsors and operators of the Marienberg private schools holding a valid school operation permit and a minimum duration of 30 years at the Bregenz location. Additionally, consent to the funding conditions according to the General Funding Guidelines of the Vorarlberg State Government is required. The total funding amount of €1.7 million is disbursed evenly over the entire project period of 120 months. Through this structuring, the schools benefit from financial planning security and can sustainably further develop their educational and training offerings.
