Description

The state of Vorarlberg assumes, as part of a 100% grant funding, the entire debt service of a 15-year loan amounting to €5.412 million, which was taken out for the general renovation of the REHA Center of the Jupident Foundation in Schlins. This measure aims to secure the modernization and expansion of the infrastructure as well as the provision of high-quality professional care for patients. The funding covers both interest and principal repayment and runs from May 8, 2019, until December 31, 2035. By assuming the financial burden, the non-profit operator is relieved in its social and health-related mission to guarantee the continued operation of a barrier-free and needs-based rehabilitation facility.

A prerequisite for receiving this direct funding measure is a resolution by the Vorarlberg State Parliament dated May 8, 2019. The funding is exclusively directed at the foundation operating the REHA Center and applies over a project duration of 180 months. Eligible expenses include all interest and principal payments necessary for the repayment of the loan. Applications can be submitted during the funding period until the end of 2035. Operators of non-profit institutions in the fields of health, housing construction & modernization, as well as labor & social affairs benefit from a financing instrument fully borne by the state, which ensures long-term planning security and relief for the public sector.
