Description
The Prussian Maritime Trading Foundation has established a dedicated emergency fund that supports private individuals nationwide in the fields of culture, science, media, as well as research and innovation. With a total volume of €50,000, the program particularly promotes Ukrainian researchers and artists, as well as emigrants and persecuted persons from Russia. The aim is to provide rapid and unbureaucratic assistance in acute crisis situations so that scientific projects and artistic endeavors can be continued. Applications can be submitted at any time; however, there are currently no fixed deadlines for submission. Funding is provided for individual projects distinguished by exceptional quality, innovation, and practical relevance, contributing to cultural or scientific diversity in Germany.
The aid offer is directed at all those who had to interrupt their activities due to flight, displacement, or repression. Applicants must provide proof of their Ukrainian origin or of emigration or persecution circumstances in Russia. Grants are awarded to cover ongoing living expenses, research stays, or artistic projects. Through this funding, not only is individual creative capacity strengthened, but interdisciplinary exchange within German institutions is also promoted. Interested parties can find information about the application procedures on the foundation’s website and submit their funding application to contribute to the preservation of scientific research and artistic production in challenging times.
