Implementation.AI

The funding program Implementation.AI supports Carinthian companies of all sizes in systematically integrating artificial intelligence into operational processes. The goal is to build know-how, develop and test concrete AI use cases, and implement them into business processes to achieve efficiency gains and secure long-term competitiveness. Applications can be submitted from July 1 until December 31, 2026. The project duration is limited to twelve months and begins on the date of application submission in the KWF portal. A non-repayable grant covers up to 30% of eligible costs, but no more than 10,000 euros. Eligible total costs must amount to at least 10,000 euros. The budget of the Carinthian Economic Promotion Fund (KWF) totals 1 million euros; funding decisions are subject to available funds.

Eligible expenses include external services such as consulting and development services or rental licenses, as well as personnel costs up to 30% of eligible expenditures. A stable economic situation, membership in the Carinthian Chamber of Commerce or the Chamber of Architects and Consulting Engineers for Styria and Carinthia, and an available de minimis framework are prerequisites. Together with external experts, a multi-stage process first identifies potentials for AI use, selects suitable solutions, and validates them using a "test before invest" approach. The final implementation demonstrates the concrete added value through measurable efficiency gains. Interested companies receive all documents and information for application submission exclusively online.
