Description

The Aenne Speck Foundation provides straightforward grants for people with multiple sclerosis or comparable diseases of the central nervous system throughout Germany. The aim is to support patients in acute financial distress and to enable self-initiated therapeutic measures that are not covered by health insurance. Furthermore, the foundation promotes scientific studies on MS research and offers financial resources for sports and cultural activities that enhance the well-being of those affected and their relatives. Applications can be submitted at any time, ensuring flexible access to the funds provided.

To apply, a written application, a medical certificate of the illness, and a project description with a financing plan are required. Eligible expenses include costs for therapeutic treatments, research projects, as well as sports and cultural events. In addition to individuals, educational institutions, non-profit organizations, interest groups, or other associations may also apply for grants, for example for museum exhibitions, music therapy courses, or studies in neurological research. Allocation is made by the foundation’s board in accordance with the statutes, with no legal entitlement to funding.
