Support/Assistance for Organizations

The "AusserGewöhnlich Berlin" Foundation supports Berlin-based companies, non-profit organizations, start-ups, interest groups, and associations that advance sustainable networking and community-building projects in line with SDG 17. As a grant provider, it offers not only financial support but primarily substantive and strategic guidance: experts from the foundation assist in designing, managing, and further developing network structures. Furthermore, the program provides access to a vibrant ecosystem comprising business, science, and civil society, which strengthens social cohesion, participatory urban development, and cross-border collaboration. A prerequisite is a registered office or activity in Berlin as well as a demonstrable contribution to strengthening the local ecosystem. The funding aims to build partnerships, leverage synergies, and implement innovative formats in infrastructure projects or social development fields.
